Search Warrent Leads to Heroin Arrest in Alexandria

Press Release – On August 25th, 2015, Agents assigned to the Sheriff’s Office Metro Division served a search warrant at 2515 Webster Street in Alexandria. Agents opened an investigation earlier this month after receiving tips and complaints from the public reporting heroin sales.
Investigators obtained enough probable cause to secure a search warrant and when Agents served the warrant, they found Mario Dejune County inside the home. County had five plastic bags of suspected heroin and a firearm located in his bedroom during the search. County, a convicted felon, is prohibited from possessing firearms. County was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. He is currently being held on $30,250 bond.
