Schools will dismiss early today because of bad weather

Because of the changing forecast and threat of bad weather from this afternoon through this evening, the Rapides Parish School Board has decided to  dismiss students early. Schools who normally dismiss at 2:30 will dismiss at 11:30. And the later dismissals will happen as drivers arrive. Parents can pick their children up early as needed.
