School Bus Accident Injures One

class=”alignleft wp-image-39303″ src=”http://klax-tv.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/schoolbus.jpg” alt=”schoolbus” width=”249″ height=”187″ />At 7:59AM this morning, August 22 2014, APD Officers responded to the intersection of Jackson and Foisy Streets in reference to an accident involving a Rapides Parish School Bus and a Ford Expedition.

The investigation found that the school bus was traveling South Bound on Foisy Street when the driver fail to yield for the stop light, impacting with the Ford Expedition that was traveling Westbound on Jackson Street. The driver of the Expedition was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

There were no injuries reported by the driver of the bus or its occupants.

The bus driver was cited for a Red Light Violation.
