Sanders’ Mother Testifies in Court Today

Mary Boothe Sanders smiled at her son during her testimony, recalling that he was a good son.
Thomas Steven Sanders, she calls him Steve, is facing the death penalty for the slaying of a 12-year-old girl four years ago. He shot her and then slit her throat.
Today, the prosecution rested, and before the recess the defense indicated they would call more witnesses tomorrow.
