Sanders Argues Murder Case Belongs in State Court Not Federal

Sanders confessed to shooting and slitting the throat of Lexis Roberts four years ago in Catahoula Parish after kidnapping her.
His attorneys are arguing the case doesn’t belong in Federal Court and should be tried before a state judge. However, a jury of six men and six women, with four alternates available, will decide the case.
