Ruling on Bobby Christopher Lucus
A man accused of murdering a roommate and then burying his body in a tub out back of his Deville home receives a probated sentence.
After a trial by a judge only, the ruling is not guilty of murder. But, Bobby Christopher Lucas is found guilty of obstructing justice by not informing authorities about the death and guilty of unlawful handling of the remains.
Lucas’ attorney had argued the matter was a case of self defense.
Lucas will be on probation for 3 years and must pay ,000 for the man’s funeral as well as ,000 for the expenses of prosecuting the case.
