Camp Grant Walker is a much-loved part of the 4H program. It’s hosted thousands of students over the years. Over the years, the camp has acquired more acreage and is making improvements for the campers.
Today, a local business donated a half million dollars to help finish the second phase of the new multi-purpose building at the educational center. The Roy O’Martin Company made the donation.
Roy O’Martin is one of the largest land companies in the state.
This is one of the largest donations ever made to a program with ties to agriculture. The educational center will be used for more than campers. It will also be a part of the AgCenter’s short course programs.
