Rodney Carrington Coming to Paragon

RodneyCarringtonMarksville, recipe La. – Paragon Casino Resort is excited announce the return of the multi-talented stand-up comedian, malady actor and country music artist, Rodney Carrington to the Mari Showroom on Saturday, October 19th. Doors open at 7 p.m. and show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are $37 each and are on sale now.

As a triple threat artist, Carrington combines his comedy act with both traditional stand-up comedy and original songs. He has starred in the ABC sitcom “Rodney,” for two seasons and has recorded eight major record label comedy albums selling over two million copies; two of these albums have gone gold.  He also co-wrote and co-starred with Toby Keith in the feature film “Beer for My Horses.”

The Longview, Texas native has also co-starred in the hit music video by Trace Adkins, ”I Got My Game On”, which won three awards on the 2008 CMT Music Video Awards, including “Male Video of the Year,” and “Video Director of the Year”. He also won the category “Supporting Character of the Year” for his role. In 2009, Carrington released his first Christmas album, Make It Christmas. This album produced the hit single, “Camouflage and Christmas Lights” and became his first Top 40 country hit.
