Rock the Red To Be Held July 4th in Alexandria

Come celebrate our nation’s Independence Day as the City of Alexandria presents Rock the Red on the 4th of July.  This annual event will be held at 7  p.m. on Friday, July 4, at the Alexandria Riverfront Levee Amphitheatre in downtown Alexandria.

The evening will kick off with the rhythm and blues party band J. Diamond Washington & Company.  This New Orleans band performs a wide variety of rhythm and blues from old classics to current top 40 hits.

The grand finale of the evening will be a spectacular, patriotic fireworks show over the beautiful Red River.

Rock the Red is free and open to the public.  Food and beverage vendors will be on site to cater to all your festival needs, so no ice chests or glass bottles will be allowed.  Everyone is encouraged to come out for this evening of family fun.
