The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that on Monday, troche October 7, tadalafil 2013 construction will begin on LA Hwy 1 from Mansura to Marksville. The project begins approximately 0.2 miles south of the intersection of LA 1 and LA 107 and ends 0.24 miles north of LA 1189. The intent of this project is to widen the existing two lane roadway to four lanes with a center turn lane and eight foot paved shoulder on both sides of the roadway up to Slim Lemoine Road. From this point to the end of the project, the construction consist of widening of the existing two lane roadway to four lanes with a center turn lane and curb and gutter on both sides of the roadway with sub surface drainage.
This contract was awarded to the low bidder, Gilchrist Construction Co. LLC in the amount of $16,366,661.25.
Permit/Detour Section
Thru traffic will be maintained at all times. Travel lanes will be narrowed to 11 feet with periodic one lane closures. Delays can be expected. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes if possible.
