The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., La 1193 will be closed to replace a culvert. The culvert replacement should be completed the same day but could possibly extend to Wednesday, November 6, 2013 depending on weather. The road will be closed approximately 0.2 miles east of the junction of La 1193 and La 453.
Permit/Detour section
On the north end of the detour begin at the west junction of La. 1193 and La. 453 proceed north along La 453 for 1.51 miles to La 107. From La 107 proceed southeast for 1.65 miles to the junction of La 107 and La 1193. On the south end of the detour begin at the junction of La 1193 and La 107 proceed northwest along La 107 for 1.65 miles to La 453, then turn on La 453 and proceed south for 1.51 miles to the junction of La 453 and La 1193.
