“Salt of the Earth” is the theme for the evening’s spoken word performances, reflecting and elevating in poetic vibrations on the root of African American life. Featuring “Poetic X” from Shreveport. Mosaic Dialect is a collective of Alexandria “poets in motion,” who promote the art of spoken word and self-expression, and create opportunities for local poets.

Cost: Free for AMoA Members; $4 for non-members.
