Red River Bank and CLEDA Host Business Workshops

Red River Bank and CLEDA’s Business Acceleration System (BAS) will provide essential guidelines to help anyone who is considering buying a business. Also, if you have begun the process of buying a business and would like more insight into the process, this class is for you as well.

Where to Start? (February 4th 6:00-7:30PM) Gary Perkins, Executive Director of the Business Acceleration System, will provide practical advice on assessing whether business ownership is the right choice for you. This workshop will also explore where to start, where to look, and what to ask for when considering a potential business.

Determining Value (February 11th-6:00-7:30PM) This session will focus on what the financial documents really tell you, and guidance for determining the value of the business, as well as how to identify common pitfalls when purchasing a business.

Finding the Capital (February 25th-6:00-7:30PM) The final workshop lead by Becky Crooks, Red River Bank Vice President/Lender, explores options for financing your purchase and available resources to assist you through the process.
