Rapides Symphony Orchestra Presents Pops On The River

Alexandria, ed LA – To open the 2013-14 season, the Rapides Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Joshua Zona will once again host “POPS ON THE RIVER” on Saturday, September, 14, 7:30 p.m. at the Alexandria Riverfront Convention Center in downtown Alexandria.  This will be the 33rd year that the RSO has hosted the “Pops Concerts” and for the 2nd straight year, the concert will be held indoors.

This year the musicians of the Rapides Symphony will be joined by guest vocalist and entertainer, Steve Vecchi in a “A Salute to Sinatra and Friends.”   Steve is from Atlanta, GA and will perform many of your favorite standards from Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole and more.

In addition to the great music, several of Cenla’s favorite restaurants will have food and drinks (soft drinks, daiquiris, etc.) available for purchase at the concert.
