Rapides Regional Medical Center’s Cancer Support Group Offers ‘Coping With Stress’ Presentation

class=”alignleft size-full wp-image-31423″ style=”margin: 2px 4px;” alt=”RapidesRegional” src=”http://klax-tv.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/RapidesRegional.png” width=”269″ height=”50″ />ALEXANDRIA, La – The Cancer Support Group at Rapides Regional Medical Center will hold its monthly meeting in the Cascade Room at Rapides Women’s and Children’s Hospital on Monday, Aug. 19.

This month, an oncology social worker will lead a discussion on “Coping With Stress.” The presentation is for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers. Participants will also have a chance to access their stress level using the National Comprehensive Cancer Network’s 10-minute “Distress Screening Tool.”
