It’s carnival season and that means the 55th Annual Rapides Parish Fair is back in town for its second year at the new fairgrounds near LSUA.
While everyone is enjoying the carnival rides as well as games and concessions at the fair, it also allows the agricultural community and youth to showcase their talents from the 4H program.
Entry to the fair is free with the exception of parking at LSUA and ticket rides.
Not only will there be a carnival to enjoy, but there will also be different shows and contests each day of the week.
This year LSUA will allow people to park at the student parking lots on campus. A $5 fee will be charged for parking at LSUA, with proceeds going towards the athletic program. Trolleys will be provided to take people to and from the fair site. Parking is free on the fairgrounds.
All the details about the fair can be found at http://www.therapidesparishfair.com/.
