Public Meeting To Address Recreation Opportunities For West Natchitoches

class=”alignleft size-full wp-image-31349″ style=”margin: 2px 4px;” alt=”CityofNatchitoches” src=”” width=”225″ height=”103″ />NATCHITOCHES – The City of Natchitoches will hold a public meeting on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 4:30 p.m. to address recreational needs for west Natchitoches.  The meeting will be held at the Natchitoches Arts Center located at 716 Second Street prior to the scheduled City Council meeting.

The City of Natchitoches is considering a Land and Water Conservation grant opportunity that will potentially provide enhancements to outdoor recreational facilities and opportunities in west Natchitoches.

The public is invited to attend and share ideas on how best the community can be served by this grant opportunity.  In addition to a facilitated discussion, attendees will be asked to complete a community survey that addresses specific recreational opportunities and needs in the community.
