Coming out of Retirement and Reuniting for a Spectacular, One-Night Only Performance!
LaCroix Park, Pollock, Louisiana, Friday, April 4, 2014: Benefit Jambalaya Supper beginning at 6pm. ($5.00 per person*) Street Dance from 7pm till 10pm.
*All funds to be used to offset the costs related to this year’s festival.
All surviving, original members of the reknowned entertainers “The Boogie Kings” have graciously agreed to reunite for a spectacular, one-night only engagement to serve as the kick-off to the 2014 Grant Parish Dogwood Festival.
This event is free, and open to the public.
Parking will be at a premium, and is available on site for a per vehicle donation.
The Grant Parish Dogwood Festival Committee and Board of Directors are thrilled to offer this unique experience to Pollock and the surrounding communities. We anticipate an overwhelming response and turnout the night of the performance, so all are invited to arrive early and bring lawn chairs.
Headquartered in Pollock, Louisiana, the Grant Parish Dogwood Festival operates as a non-profit entity whose sole purpose is to preserve the rich history of our community and to celebrate the relevance and importance of the Kisatchie National Forest.
Begun in 1960, The Grant Parish Dogwood Festival is celebrating its 54th year. Our festival takes place the first weekend of April each spring.
