Political Forum Featured Legislative & Parish Wide Candidates

A group of organizations came together to sponsor the forum.

It featured legislative and parish wide candidates. Two of the hottest races are for the legislature, where a democrat and a republican are fighting for an open senate seat. And a sheriff’s race with an incumbent facing three challengers.

All were given chances to describe themselves and their political beliefs with some time for questions from the audience. That primary election is October 24th.
