Police Pull over an Ice Cream Van and Find Drugs

On Tuesday, Alexandria Police arrested 18-year-old Mark Leduff of Alexandria and 17-year-old Trae Williams of Marksville.

APD Officers were patrolling in the 100 Block of Louisiana Avenue, when they spotted an Ice Cream van that failed to signal while making a turn. The officers conducted a traffic stop.

Officers noticed the driver Mark Leduff acting nervous. Further investigation by officers resulted in the Ice Cream van being searched with officers locating suspected Marijuana inside.

Both Leduff and Williams were arrested and booked into to the Rapides Parish Detention Center. Leduff was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Fail to Signal and Drivers License Required. Williams was charged with Possession of Marijuana.
