Police Investigate Murder-Suicide in Deville
Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Deputies say 36-year-old Terrel Laprarie shot 39-year-old Theresa Johnson in a murder-suicide in Deville. Here’s what Lieutenant Tommy Carnline has to report.
According to sheriff’s deputies, the incident was reported at 8:40 last night at the Buckeye Apartments. Initial reports indicate the shooter opened fire at the top of the stairs and then turned the gun on himself.
Authorities are working to determine a motive in this case and the investigation is ongoing.
