Police Identify Man Who Tried to Hold-Up Credit Union

Ronald-David-Paul-II-mugPineville police identify and catch the man who tried to hold-up a credit union yesterday. Police caught 36-year-old Ronald David Paul almost immediately after he walked into the Pelican State Credit Union on Main Street in Pineville.

He had a duffel bag pressed against his chest and demanded money. Police arrived while he was still in the bank and they used a taser to subdue him.

No weapons were ever found, no money was taken, and no credit union workers were hurt.

Paul was taken to a hospital to have the taser prongs removed.
