Pineville Rotary Club Gives Out Dictionaries to 4th Graders

For the ninth year, the Pineville Rotary Club is giving away dictionaries to fourth graders. These kids at Pineville Elementary received their books this morning.

In all, the Rotarians will hand out these dictionaries to 10 schools and at the Pineville Youth Center.

The club president says this is an important job for their group, which is one of the smaller civic organizations in the area. They say, though many children now use computers, it’s hard to look up a word if you can’t figure out how to spell it.
