Pineville Man Arrested on Obscenity Charges

Press Release – On September 9, around 9:45 am, APD officers responded to a store in the 2000 block of North Mall Drive in reference to a disturbance.  The officers were met by store security, who informed them that a male subject had exposed himself to two females.  All parties were still on scene.

The two females, one of whom was 16, informed the officers that the male had been near them for several minutes when they were shopping.  When the two briefly separated, the male came close to the 16-year-old, exposing his genitals; this caused her to scream, at which point the second female came closer and also saw the male had exposed himself.

According to the store’s employees, the male had been in the store since around 7:00 am.  When officers contacted the male, he exhibited signs of intoxication, and claimed he had only been in the store for around half an hour.  The male also claimed he was at the store with a friend who was shopping, but he could not provide the friend’s name.

The male, identified as Robert Henry, 40, of Pineville, was charged with Obscenity, and was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.
