The Paragon Casino in Marksville is celebrating its 20th year in business. Last night they had a celebration with food and music. The Tunica Biloxi Tribe opened the casino on June 3rd, 1994. They had a public celebration last night, complete with cake.
Chairman Joey Barbry says they’ve gone from one building to a hotel, a spa and salon, a golf course, seven restaurants, a three-screen cinema and more.
The celebration continues this weekend with a concert in the Mari Showroom by Cowboy Mouth Saturday night at 8. This includes a rooftop party on the third floor of the parking garage, which includes food and drink and a fireworks show.
Today, KLAX-TV gave away tickets for the Roof-top Party and those winners are Margaret Johnson of Mansura, Belinda Hagen of Jena, and Sheri Hunley of Pineville. Each wins 4 tickets to the event.
