Boyce Branch Library to Host “Movie Time!”

[ June 7, 2014 to July 26, 2014. ] Boyce, Louisiana—In connection with the “Fizz! Boom! Read!” Summer Reading Program, the Boyce Branch Library will show a scientific themed G, PG, or PG-13 movie every other Saturday at noon, June 7-July 26.

City of Alexandria to Host Summer Day Camp

[ June 25, 2014 to August 8, 2014. ] The City of Alexandria, Division of Community Services, will provide a summer camp from June 25 through August 8 for children ages 4-12. The camp will run from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, in the former Boys and Girls Club building at 1801 Sylvester Street across from Bringhurst Park.
