LSA Scholarship Program Underway

[ March 12, 2014 to April 1, 2014. ] Today, Sheriff William Earl Hilton announces the opening of the application process for the Louisiana Sheriff’s Association Scholarship Program.  Applications will be accepted until close of business April 1st, 2014.

[ March 21, 2014 to March 31, 2014. ] Central Louisiana Economic Development Alliance (CLEDA) is still seeking eight restaurants and eight farmers to participate in the Fresh Central Farm-to-Restaurant pilot program. CLEDA will work closely with each of the participating restaurants and producers during the sixteen-week pilot program to work out any kinks that may arise.

Glass artist Anderson of Quitman will present senior show at NSU

[ March 24, 2014 to March 28, 2014. ] NATCHITOCHES – “Undersea Wonders,” a senior art exhibition by Alicia Trevillion Anderson of Quitman will be on display at Northwestern State University’s Orville Hanchey Gallery March 24-28.  The exhibit will include stained glass, fused glass and flame worked glass pieces, as well as a quilt and four prints.

Driver’s education class to be offered in March and April at NSU

[ March 25, 2014 7:30 am to March 28, 2014 4:30 pm. April 18, 2014 to April 27, 2014. ] NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic and Continuing Education will offer two separate sessions of driver’s education this spring.
