August 29, 2013 to August 31, 2013. ] NATCHITOCHES, LA- Park Rangers from Cane River Creole National Historical Park will continue to offer FREE guided walking tours of the Natchitoches Historic District throughout the month of August.
The tours will take place Thursdays-Sundays, starting at 9:00 a.m. Each tour will begin at the Cunningham law office located at 550 Second Street in downtown Natchitoches.

Historic City Hall Hosts “Abraham Lincoln: The Image”

The opening reception will take place on Friday, August 2 from 5:30-8 p.m.; all ages are welcome at no charge. The exhibition will hang through October 12, 2013.

NSU to Offer Driver’s Ed Class

[ July 29, 2013 to August 2, 2013. ] NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic and Continuing Education will offer a summer driver education class July 29 – Aug. 2. The class will be held at South Hall. The fee for the class is $350.

Those taking the class must be 15 years old by the first day of class.
