Over 500 Students Tour Kent House
More
Kent House is a 19th century raised cottage-type plantation home that actually supported families who lived within its walls for generations. Students learn about the former residents by digging to find artifacts and by observing what they did to get food, patient shelter and clothing.
A couple hundred parents came along with students as they learned about the lives of their forefathers and mothers. Archaeology Day happens every year at Kent House.
