OGB Hold Meeting to Prep State Workers for Sign-Up Period

Louisiana state employees, including teachers, are in a limbo right now. Officials with the Office of Group Benefits acknowledge there’s a lot of confusion and frustration during the sign-up period for health care.

Meetings are being held all over the state for active and retired workers. This one is held in Pineville.

The regular sign-up period is being extended for all affected by the changes, which will cause rates to increase and reduce benefits. These changes and this office affect some 250-thousand state workers, active and retired.
