NSU to hold Junior Day Feb. 1

NATCHITOCHES  — Northwestern State University will hold its annual Junior Day Saturday, Feb. 1. The program is sponsored by NSU’s Office of University Recruiting. High school juniors who plan to begin college in the fall of 2015 and their families are invited to attend.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. in the A.A. Fredericks Auditorium. The program will begin at 10 a.m.  A program “The College Journey: The Right Choice” starts at 10:30 a.m.

Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. Beginning at 11:30 a.m., NSU academic department heads and faculty will be available to discuss academic programs offered at Northwestern. Campus tours will also be available.

Those who attend Junior Day can also get tickets to the basketball doubleheader against Abilene Christian, which begins at 1 p.m. in Prather Coliseum.
