NSU sets Oct. 7 Houston-area golf event

Northwestern_State_University_of_LouisianaHOUSTON – Entries are being accepted for the first-ever Houston-area Northwestern State University Demons Golf Scramble on Monday, Oct. 7 at the popular Tour 18 Golf Course in Humble.

Presented by the Northwestern State Alumni Association’s Houston Chapter, the outing will benefit the Demons Unlimited Foundation, created to support NSU student-athletes’ pursuit of athletic and academic success at the highest level.

Golfers will have the opportunity to play alongside some of the most successful former athletes in school history and many fellow NSU alumni.

The tournament will be held at the beautiful Tour 18 in Humble. The course is a replica of 18 prolific holes from courses around the country.

The cost is $125 per person or $400 per team, which includes  continental breakfast, lunch, complimentary beverages, green fees, range balls, and cart rental. Mulligans will be available for purchase.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams, as well as for the longest drive and closest to the pin.

Tee sponsorships are also available for supporters who don’t play golf or those who cannot attend.
