NSU seeking nominations for Long Purple Line, alumni hall of distinction

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University is seeking nominations for candidates to be inducted into the university’s alumni hall of distinction, the Long Purple Line.  Induction into the Long Purple Line is the highest honor Northwestern State bestows on alumni.  Inductees are individuals whose lives and/or work have had a positive impact on others.

Nominations are due by July 17. Selections will be made by committee decision.

The Long Purple Line was established in 1990 to recognize the noteworthy achievements of some of Northwestern State’s most accomplished former students. Past inductees include scientists, educators, statesmen, entrepreneurs, writers, military leaders, philanthropists and others whose successes were deemed worthy to honor.
