NSU offering art fundamentals camp

NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Department of Fine + Graphic Art will again offer the popular Art Fundamentals Summer Camp, a three-week event for youngsters ages 5-11.  Three sessions with three different themes will be offered.  All sessions run from 1-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and will take place in Room 205 of the Fine Arts Annex. Campers can be dropped off as early as 12:30 p.m. and picked up as late as 5:30 p.m.  Parents may coordinate with organizers for children who participate in the morning Fun with Music Camp to transition to the Art Fundamentals Camp in the afternoon.

This year’s themes are “Viva La France!” June 1-5, “Masks from Around the World” June 8-12 and “Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day” June 15-19
