The program, “Modern in Motion,” will incorporate tap, contemporary modern and contemporary tap into a site specific work, according to NSU Associate Professor of Dance Brett Garfinkel.
“Once I saw the building and its architecture, I wanted to use it for a performance,” said Garfinkel. “The dancers will move through the entire space, so the audience can take in the performance as it happens throughout the building. This is a good way for people to see the exhibits along with a live dance performance.”
