Northwestern State to host two job fairs Tuesday

class=”alignleft wp-image-20066″ style=”margin: 2px 4px;” alt=”Northwestern_State_University_of_Louisiana” src=”http://klax-tv.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Northwestern_State_University_of_Louisiana.png” width=”160″ height=”160″ />NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s Office of Counseling and Career Services is sponsoring a Spring/Summer Job Fair and Teacher Job Fair Tuesday, April 1 in the Friedman Student Union.

The Spring/Summer Job Fair event is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Union Lobby and is open to all Northwestern State students and alumni. The Teacher Job Fair is from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. in the Union Ballroom and is open to education majors.

Local, national and multinational companies, governmental agencies and universities will be on hand at the Spring/Summer Job Fair to accept resumes, conduct interviews and provide information.

Those participating in the Career Fair are CenturyLink, Cleco Corporation, Crest Industries, LLC, Emerson (Alliance), Enterprise Rent A Car, Grambling State University,

Horseshoe Casino, IBM, Louisiana CAT, Louisiana Workforce Commission, LRCE, McNeese State University Graduate School, NSU Child and Family Network, NSU Recruiting/Grad School, Republic Finance LLC, Tyson and University Health System of Shreveport.

Schools or school districts districts taking part in the Teacher Job Fair are Acadia, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Bossier, Caddo, Calcasieu, Caldwell, Concordia, DeSoto, El Dorado (Ark.), Evangeline, Fort Bend ISD (Texas), Grant, Iberia, Jackson, Jefferson Davis, Lafayette, LaSalle, Linwood of Shreveport, Mesquite (Texas), Natchitoches, Ouachita, Rapides, Red River, Sabine, St. Charles, St. Landry, St. Martin, Vernon and Winn.
