KLAX Commercial Production
Our production team consists of experienced writers and producers that can bring customers to your door. KLAX uses state-of-the-art technology to create an effective television commercial that gets noticed and gets results for your business. Our commercials look better because they are better, that's why they work so well. KLAX offers several differeny types of commercials to suit your needs. Pre-Production
A KLAX Account Executive will work with you to determine your advertising goals and target your audience. You will discuss production options and begin to develop a script for your commercial. The script provides direction through the production process. It is the storyboard that makes shooting and editing easier.
Graphics
Business or company logos are important for graphics in your commercial. Logos and slogans create an identity and should be consistent with your business sign, printing and other advertising efforts. You should provide a copy of your logo or art work preferably as a computer file on a disk or via e-mail. All logos and graphic files should be a scalable PC format, e.g. in a non-rasterized EPS file. Image size should be 720 pixels wide by 486 pixels high at 300 dpi resolution. No gif files can be accepted. Your print shop may be helpful in this matter.
The Shoot
KLAX will video tape your commercial on location or in our studio using a VX2100 Sony Digital Camera. Shooting may include lighting effects and techniques, microphones, props, and a video monitor. A commercial shoot typically takes 1 to 3 hours. Your preparation and assistance is greatly appreciated.
The Edit
Editing takes place in one of our three editing suites. We complete your commercial by layering video, graphics, voice over, music, and special effects. When editing is completed a VHS or DVD copy of your commercial is supplied as proof for your approval and is yours to keep.
Equipment
KLAX uses a Sony digital VX2100 camera for video acquisition. Non-linear editing will be done on Adobe Premiere Pro. KLAX has added a Macintosh utilizing Final Cut Studio Pro for editing. Graphics are created on Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, and a variety of graphics plug-ins.
