Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies, Natchitoches Parish Fire Districts #4, #5, Flatwoods Fire Department, La. Department of Agriculture and Forestry, US Forest Service and LDAF Air Support are on the scene of a woods fire just off La. Hwy 119 near Boone Road, south of Gorum, La.

At this time, no structures are in immediate danger.

Deputies and Fire personnel are actively working the fire and closely monitoring residences in the area.
