Sundrop, based in Colorado, says the contract for the biofuel plant goes to IHI, a US subsidiary of a Japanese-based corporation.
The plant is targeted to produce around 60 million gallons of finished gasoline. The plant will occupy about 100 acres of the more than one thousand bought by the company in February. Construction will begin later this year, with operations set to begin at the end of 2015.
