Narcotics Arrests

On Thursday, Alexandria Police Officers arrested 19-year-old Latravion Brown of Alexandria. Brown is charged with possession narcotics with Intent to Distribute.

While conducting a patrols in the North City Park and Yale Street area, APD officers noticed a black truck parked with the lights off in the City Park playground area; three individuals were sitting in the vehicle.

During the investigation, officer’s found that Brown was in possession of several small bags of suspected Marijuana, and several small bags of Cocaine.

Lattavion Brown was taken into custody and booked into the Rapides Parish Jail.

The other two persons were interviews and released.

Marijuana Arrest

Suspicious behavior leads to a drug arrest by Alexandria Police. Police say they found drugs on 31-year-old Aaron Green of Alexandria.

Officers say they conducted a field interview Thursday afternoon, when they made the arrest. APD officers confronted Green and another person acting suspicious in the 4000 block of MacArthur Drive. While interviewing Green, they noticed he was acting very nervous. As the investigation continued, Green was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana and Methadone pills.

Aaron Green was arrested and booked into the Rapides Parish Jail. The other individual was interviewed and released.

Green is charged with Possession of CDS Sch 1 Narcotics with Intent to Distribute, Possession of CDS Sch 2 Narcotics with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
