Missing Person: Joseph Valdez

The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently attempting to locate a missing person.

Joseph Valdez of Boyce was reported missing yesterday evening, having not returned from a trip to Pollock, LA.

Deputies located the vehicle Mr. Valdez was driving yesterday afternoon after a receiving a complaint that a vehicle had been wrecked and abandoned in the Rigollette levy area.

At that time, Mr. Valdez had not been reported missing.  With the vehicle being registered out of state to a different person, attempts to contact the owner were unsuccessful.

Mr. Valdez is a white male 57 years of age, 5’6” tall, 185 pounds, brown eyes and gray hair.

Mr. Valdez was last seen yesterday morning at approximately 7:30 am.

Deputies are searching the area of the Rigollette levy at this time.
