Press Release – On February 12th , 2015, deputies assigned to the Sheriff’s Office Metro Division arrested two subjects on methamphetamine charges.  Metro Division had received several anonymous complaints from the community citing suspected methamphetamine sales in the 100 block of Hickory Street in Pineville.

Deputies went to the residence to conduct an investigation and made contact with 20-year-old Michael Grassa and 32-year-old Tuesday Ambrose at a camper trailer parked on the property.  Both claimed to have recently moved into the camper from the residence.  After explaining the complaint, deputies were granted consent to search the camper.  Inside the camper, deputies located a digital scale on the counter with a plastic bag containing suspected Methamphetamines.  Grassa and Ambrose, both from Pineville, were taken into custody without incident and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center where Grassa is being held on $5,250 bond and Ambrose is being held on $30,250 bond.

“We appreciate these community complaints and we will continue to investigate them” said Sheriff William Earl Hilton.  “The eyes and ears of the public are great tools law enforcement needs to help keep our communities safe.  Together, we can make a difference.”

Mathew Wayne Grassa is charged with Possession of CDS II (Methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Tuesday Michelle Ambrose is charged with Possession of CDS II (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Contempt of Court Warrant.
