Memorial Day Ceremony at Paragon Casino Resort
class=”alignleft wp-image-25664″ src=”http://klax-tv.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Paragon.jpg” alt=”Paragon” width=”243″ height=”139″ />Marksville, LA (May 19, 2014) – Officials of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana and veterans organizations throughout Central Louisiana extend an invitation to all veterans, their family members, and the general public to attend a Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 26 at the Avoyelles veterans monument on Highway One at 10 a.m. The ceremony will include a 21 gun salute performed by the Avoyelles Parish Honor Guard. Plus, all veterans and active military personnel can enjoy a free buffet on Memorial Day. Must present military ID to the Preferred Players Club to receive voucher for a free buffet. Limit is one per person.
“For over a decade, the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana has shown its support for our military by honoring veterans from throughout Louisiana,” states Tunica-Biloxi Tribal Chairman, Joey P. Barbry. “The monument is a tribute to those men and women who made sacrifices for our freedom. The ceremony held at the monument will keep the memory of our fallen soldiers alive.”
A reception will immediately follow the ceremony. In case of rain, the ceremony will be moved inside the Mari Showroom at Paragon Casino Resort.
