Mayor Recognizes Exchange Club for Community Work

One local service group is stunned after the mayor recognizes the group for their actions.

The Exchange Club members were told the mayor would be joining their weekly meeting to discuss a new program initiative. However, once the mayor reached the podium it was evident there was no new program just recognition for their service over the years.

Mayor Roy spoke about how the club had no idea what he was planning on doing.

The Exchange Club is designed to make our communities better places to live through programs of service in Americanism, community service, youth activities and its national project, the prevention of child abuse.
