Mayor lifts water conservation order

The 42” transmission main from the Kisatchie Fields, which sustained a blowout on Saturday, June 28, was returned to service about 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
Water storage levels inside the City rose substantially last night. At this time the Alexandria water system has resumed normal operations.
Residents and businesses may resume normal usage.
Mayor Roy thanks Alexandria citizens for their cooperation, patience and understanding during the water conservation order.
