Marksville Officer Charged with Murder May be Out by Tomorrow

Norris Greenhouse, Jr.

One officer charged with murder for the November 3rd shootings in Marksville that left a 6-year-old dead may be out on bond as soon as tomorrow.

Norris Greenhouse, Jr. needs at least one million dollars in unencumbered property to post bond, or, if the judge permits, he could do a combination of property and money.

Greenhouse’s father is a veteran prosecutor in Avoyelles Parish and is described as well-to-do, though not rich.

Once released, the judge is requiring him to stay under house arrest with an ankle bracelet.
