Man Threatens Woman with Scissors
Rapides deputies arrest a man they say threatened a woman with scissors.
Deputies arrested Robert Garrett of Pineville yesterday over the incident that happened May 27th at a camp site in Boyce. He’s charged with assault and battery.
On May 27th, Garrett approached a woman while she was camping and asked to borrow her phone. While he was using her phone, he grabbed her and told her they were not leaving until he got his money. Garrett then grabbed a pair of orange handled scissors and threatened to kill her. He then took the scissors and left the area.
