Man Arrested for Firing Shots at Residence
class=”alignleft size-full wp-image-39296″ src=”http://klax-tv.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Bruce-Gordon-Conston-mug.jpg” alt=”Bruce-Gordon-Conston-mug” width=”169″ height=”225″ />At approximately 9:40 pm August 10th, 2014, deputies responded to a disturbance call in the 100 block of Borland Rd in Deville. The complainant advised a neighbor, later identified as Bruce Gordon Coston of 120 Borland Rd, Deville, LA, had fired several shots at their residence.
When deputies arrived, a family member had already disarmed the suspect and the suspect was suffering from some self inflicted cuts on his arms. Deputies secured the scene and made it safe while Acadian Ambulance and Holiday Village Fire Department could render aid to the suspect.
Deputies located all other subjects and no one was injured from the gun shots.
Detectives and Crime Scene Units responded to conduct their investigation. After the suspect was transported and treated at the Rapides Regional Trauma Center, he was arrested for Criminal Trespassing, Illegal Use of a Weapon, Violation of Protective Orders, Aggravated Criminal Damage and 2 counts Aggravated Assault with a Firearm. Coston was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center where he remains on a $175,750.00 bond.
Detectives say the investigation is still ongoing.
