Lunar Synchronicity Creates Supermoon

A feat of lunar synchronicity created a supermoon.  It happens when the moon is full and at the same time reaches its closest point to earth in its orbit.  It makes for the biggest, brightest moon of the year.  A supermoon like this occurs about once a year.
