The lieutenant governor toured the current exhibitions and got a behind-the-scenes look at the facility. He spoke to staff and members of the museum board and discussed the challenges in the current state budget. Dardenne says the volunteers are the keys to overcoming budget cuts.
The lieutenant governor is an announced candidate for governor.
